The Town of Atoka has submitted an application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the State of Tennessee Emergency Management Agency’s (TEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP).
The Town of Atoka has submitted an application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency through the State of Tennessee Emergency Management Agency’s (TEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program a grant application for the funding of the following.

Rosiland Way Property Acquisition/Demolition – 4211-0006
Location of Proposed Work:
The area affected by the project consists of a home facing severe erosion threats on Rosiland Way in Atoka, Tennessee.
Proposed Work and Purpose:
The approved scope of work is the acquisition and demolition of one (1) residential structure that faces imminent threat from creek erosion and converting the land into open space and will be maintained as such in perpetuity as required in 44 CFR Part 80.

State $ 25,000.00
Local $ 25,000.00
Estimated Total Cost $ 200,000.00
Comments are solicited from the public; local, state or federal agencies; and other interested parties in order to consider and evaluate the impacts of the proposed project. All comments should be made in writing and addressed to the Town Administrator, Town of Atoka, 334 Atoka-Munford Avenue, Atoka, Tennessee 38004. These are due within 21 days of this notice. The State will forward comments to applicable regulatory agencies as needed.
