The Town of Atoka has published its 2016 water quality report. The report, detailing the chemical composition of water provided to Atokans, confirms that Atoka water meets all of the regulatory standards for safe drinking water.
Every year, drinking water systems across Tennessee are required to publish a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) - detailing the results of water quality testing conducted throughout the year. The Town tests for more than eighty (80) contaminants that may exist in drinking water and, as the report indicates, only five (5) of the contaminants were found to be present - with all being found to be at safe levels for drinking water consumption.
