On August 26, 2016, the Town received a completed application for Use on Appeal of the properties outlined below for the purposes of gravel and sand mining. The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) held a public meeting on Thursday, September 22 at 6:30 pm at Atoka Town Hall to consider the application. After hours of input from stakeholders on all side and a thorough staff analysis on the factors surrounding the application, the BZA voted unanimously to deny the application as filed.
