Atoka Public Works Now Offering ACH Payment Service
Posted on Thursday February 13, 2014
Atoka Public Works has added a new, convenient way to pay your monthly utility bill - ACH debit service. Easy, automatic and free, the new service withdraws the funds from your designated account each month. Sign up now at Atoka Town Hall.
Building on efforts over the past several years to offer more choices and better service to our utility customers, the Town of Atoka is now offering Automated Clearing House (ACH) debit service for payment of utility bills.  Prior to the bill due date, customers who have signed up for the service will have the funds automatically withdrawn from their checking or savings account.  Customers can cancel the service at any time.

Using ACH debit service eliminates one of your monthly bills to pay.  No more stamps, checks, trips to Town Hall or website visits.  Set up the service, receive your monthly bill by email and ACH debit will take care of the rest.  Best of all, no more late fees with ACH debit.  Standard fees and penalties will apply for transactions declined for non-sufficient funds.

The Town began accepting credit card payments in August 2011, added online payments in December 2011 and enhanced the online payment system in April 2013.  Through a partnership with First Citizens National Bank (FCNB), the ACH debit is available to all Atoka utility customers at no cost - even if they do not bank at FCNB.

For more information or to sign up for ACH debit service, contact Atoka Public Works at (901) 837-5301.
