Public Works


The Public Works Department oversees much of the infrastructure that keeps Atoka running. From roads and ditches to water and wastewater management, Town crews are constantly maintaining and improving Atoka's public works infrastructure. Additionally, the Public Works Department manages residential and commercial water distribution and the operation of the Town's wastewater system.

The Department works with its staff and local contractors to manage road, sewer and stormwater improvement projects throughout the Town. Staff members make every effort to ensure that the work conforms to Town specifications while creating as little inconvenience to the public as possible.

The Town of Atoka’s Consumer Confidence Report (C.C.R.)/ Water Quality Report will not be direct mailed to individual Atoka water customers and can be found below.  You may request a copy be mailed to you by contacting Atoka Public Works at (901) 837-5300.

Now you can enter Request for Service's online in Atoka Connect.  You are able to put requests for some of the following examples:

Potholes (Please provide accurate description of where the pothole can be found)
Missed trash (Trash must be out by 6 am on the day of service, it is preferred that you put your request in the morning following service day)
Street Light out
Park issue/concern
Sewer Issues

Your requests can be put here or you can download the app to your phone.  As always, you can call (901) 837-5300, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.  After hours you can call the Public Works Emergency line.
